About
Hello I am Maximiliano Randy Hernandez a San Diego born and raised artist that specializes in 3D art which includes; 3D Modeling, 3D Printing, 3D Game Development, VR, AR, and Animation.
My journey into 3D modeling began with a love for its boundless creative potential. This led me to a course on virtual environment creation, where I mastered using 3D models within a VR setting, specifically with Unreal Engine. I applied these skills during an internship at the Qualcomm Institute at UCSD, contributing to an educational VR experience. Currently, my focus has shifted from VR to traditional game development, though I continue to leverage Unreal Engine's powerful toolset.
I earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts (ICAM) from Marshall College at the University of California San Diego. ICAM integrates art and technology, with core courses in fabrication, electronics, and art history. My dedication to my artistic work extends beyond formal education, as I consistently explore modern industry software and techniques.
My career goal is to be an electronic arts educator and to share my skills to empower the next generation of creative thinkers. I am currently looking to do different 3D-based projects to gain more experience and refine my skills. Should my creative services be of interest, please do not hesitate to make contact via telephone or email.
